Kerataconus

I have just been diagnosed with kerataconus it is a thinning of the cornea

The cornea is the clear window on the front of the eye. It provides the majority of the focussing power of the eye. Keratoconus is a common bilateral corneal condition, occurring in more than 1 in 2000 people. It is characterized by progressive corneal thinning and stretching which gradually progresses in both eyes allowing the corneas to bulge forward and adopt an irregular cone shape. As a result, the eye develops astigmatism and the vision may become severely blurred
